Which manufacturer's appliances are best to buy for the kitchen?

On the modern market there are a lot of household appliances that make life much easier, save time and create additional comfort. However, among all the variety of products, it is not so easy to choose a brand whose products will last a long time and reliably. It is best to purchase products from trusted and well-known manufacturers. Let's consider several brands of household appliances that are considered the best on the world market.

Fridge

Let's start with the largest, most expensive and, probably, important apparatus for any kitchen.

There are dozens of domestic manufacturers represented in this segment, but we would like to highlight only the five best (and this will happen in each section):

  • Bosch (Germany);
  • Siemens (Germany);
  • Gorenje (Slovenia);
  • Liebherr (Germany);
  • Samsung (South Korea).

The first two companies are world-famous German brands that have been delighting millions of people with the quality of their products for decades.

Compared to other manufacturers, their refrigerators are more expensive and have a narrower range, but the thoughtfulness of parts, reliability of components, build quality and efficiency are excellent.

If you are in search of the best models, then be sure to check out our rating of the best refrigerators.

Freeing the tabletop

It should be taken into account that you can build in not only large appliances, but also a microwave, coffee maker, mixer, blender or even a toaster. It’s a small thing, but it’s nice, because, for example, in my kitchen all the countertops, as well as part of the window sill, are filled with small kitchen devices. And something else, like a juicer, “lives” on the mezzanine. If only she had been at hand, you see, we would drink freshly squeezed juice more often.

Today, the dishwasher does not have to be located next to the sink.

On the other hand, “garages” or “parking lots” for equipment also clutter up the kitchen countertop quite well, but they are much cheaper than, for example, a built-in coffee maker.

Another point that a built-in kitchen allows you to take into account is the frequency of use of the appliance. Let's give an example: you live alone or together with a girlfriend/boyfriend. You, of course, do not need a large refrigerator, since you eat mainly in the city or order food from restaurants, and at home you drink coffee or “various Baikal drinks.” It makes sense to buy a small refrigerator, doesn’t it? By integrating it into your kitchen, you create a workspace both above and below it - and can make great use of it.

Hood

There are a number of fairly stringent requirements for hoods, and quality is the most important of them.

This is especially true in cases where the housewife loves to cook, which means regular operation of this device.

Among the manufacturers that have proven themselves only from the best side, the following stand out:

  • Teka (Germany/Spain);
  • Gorenje (Slovenia);
  • Pyramida (Germany/Ukraine);
  • Franke (Switzerland);
  • Elica (Italy).

All of these companies have both dome and built-in models to suit every taste. Be sure to pay attention to the power of the hood, its dimensions and the type of air filtration.

The best Korean brands of household appliances

Korean companies have been present on the Russian market for a long time. They produce high-quality products and meet all the needs of modern customers.

Samsung

The famous company Samsung
One of the most famous companies that emerged in the last quarter of the last century. Today, the brand has grown into a transnational corporation, which is a confident leader in the market.

The product range is maximally expanded: household appliances, digital equipment, professional technical devices and more. The company locates production facilities all over the world, including Russia. There are several representative offices on its territory.

The owners leave only positive reviews about the brand’s products. They highlight the design, the use of innovative technologies and the quality of components. However, many people notice that the durability of devices depends on the manufacturer. Not all of them have good quality checks.

LG

LG Company The company
, which emerged in the middle of the last century, is a confident leader in the household appliances production segment. She keeps up with the times, creating interesting models suitable for all occasions.

The range of this brand includes all types of household appliances, but kitchen equipment is in great demand. The company has representative offices in Russia. Moreover, some items are collected exclusively on the territory of the Russian Federation: refrigerators, washing machines and televisions.

Buyers praise the equipment of this brand. They note that the products have an affordable price, high quality and interesting design. They separately indicate the reliability of LG household appliances. But the company poorly fulfills its obligations regarding warranty repairs, which is considered a huge disadvantage.

Daewoo

Daewoo Company
The company emerged as a subsidiary of a large corporation in the last quarter of the last century. In the late 90s, it managed to separate itself and became an independent successful brand producing household appliances, as well as audio and video devices. Its range also includes climate control equipment.

Several representative offices of the brand have been opened in Russia; all lines of refrigerators are produced at the production facilities.

Buyers say that the brand's products are of good quality. It is simple and reliable, so it allows you to save significantly. But the company does not always follow modern trends and introduce innovations into production. Therefore, in a number of parameters, the devices lag behind their competitors.

Hob

We will talk about electric hobs. They have an order of magnitude more advantages than their gas counterparts, and are becoming increasingly popular in our area.

In addition to build quality, durability and safety, you should pay attention to such factors as dimensions, number of burners, ease of operation, and child protection.

According to many experts, the best products can be considered the products of such companies already familiar to you as:

  • Bosch;
  • Gorenje;
  • Siemens.

These three brands have the highest quality and reliability of hobs, but are an order of magnitude higher than brands such as Electrolux or Whirlpool.

How to choose built-in appliances for the kitchen

There are several parameters that will help you choose the right appliances for your kitchen:

  1. Quality (assembly, materials) is an important parameter on which the service life of the device will depend.
  2. Ergonomics is a criterion on which ease of use and space saving depend.
  3. Design - depends on the preferences of the buyer.
  4. Stability in operation is a factor that determines the durability of the device.
  5. Price – you can prepare in advance and read several articles and reviews on the use of built-in equipment on the Internet before going to the store.

Microwave

The microwave oven is the next most popular and in demand device in our kitchens.

In the top of the best companies in this niche you will see already familiar brands:

  • Bosch (Germany);
  • Gorenje (Slovenia);
  • Samsung (South Korea);
  • Panasonic (Japan);
  • Whirlpool.

We would recommend that you choose between Bosch, Gorenje and Samsung, as they have the best range and are all equally in the same price range.

When choosing a microwave, be sure to pay attention to the most important parameters: power, external and internal dimensions, as well as functionality.

Now let's move on to smaller kitchen appliances.

“better” is too abstract a term.

Miele is a great appliance and so is its price. the other two brands are lower class and therefore cheaper - for some this is also a criterion.

Farida Biktach at a built-in oven at height - pay attention to how convenient it is for you to open the door. Not everyone likes the folding one, as it is difficult to fit. The neff has a sliding door.

Ilve also has a classic design, nothing. And the stoves and hoods are of a higher class.

The only differences are in the design. Functionality and reliability are approximately the same. It's like a Mercedes, BMW and Ford Focus - of them, the fastest one in traffic jams is the one with the flashing light on the roof.

In my opinion, this is a very wrong way to pose the question. What is the best brand? If your favorite brand doesn’t have a model that suits you in all respects, will you take another brand? So maybe it’s worth formulating which brand satisfies your vision of an ideal brand? After all, appearance is important to some, functions to others, and a wild combination of operating modes to others.

Having tightened my belt, I decided to take reliable equipment and not think about repairs for many years... naive. I bought Miele appliances: built-in refrigerator and freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, washing/drying machine. Everything except the washing machine and freezer turned out to be of disgusting quality! The induction cooker did not work from the very beginning - it was replaced. The refrigerator stopped cooling properly after a month - the door was replaced under warranty, which also took time. After several years, it stopped cooling again, but the warranty had already expired. After the inspection, the master announced the price of a new rubber seal - 150 euros, the price of a loop - 200 euros (two are needed). And all this needs to be ordered - 1 month. She didn’t even ask the price of the work :0 The dishwasher scratches the dishes shamelessly - all the glasses and black plates have small scratches, and sometimes they don’t wash well. Very capricious in terms of detergents (cheap ones are not suitable). After 6 years the washing machine stopped drying. The technician came and replaced something in 10 minutes and charged me 12,000 rubles. I bought an Atlant refrigerator for 10,000 rubles for the utility room at the same time as Miele appliances (6 years ago) - it works like a beast! After five years, the freezer stopped working - something had come loose. I poked it from the inside and it plowed again. I think that for the money that Miele asks for its products and repairs, you can easily buy new budget equipment every couple of years and throw it away after the first serious breakdown.

From the experience of friends: 8 years ago, the engine of a Liebherr refrigerator broke down after a couple of months. The visiting craftsmen commented that this was a common occurrence with Liebherr. I don’t know how things are now.

I haven’t heard any complaints from friends who use budget equipment.

I agree with the previous author, sometimes buying popular brands turns into a lottery. (if not to say, the game of “thimbles”). There are supposedly brands that are dishonest in screwdriver technology. It is possible that in your appliances from Miele

Only the front panel with the name. (((Although the branded drum of the Miele washing machine is considered the best in terms of preserving fabrics during the washing process.

I had a curious case - I ordered kitchens for two objects almost simultaneously. One built-in dishwasher is Bosch, the other is Kuppersbusch - the price difference is twofold, everything else is the same. only the tags are different. It happens that someone does not care about the way video and audio signals are processed on a TV, but it is vitally important that the body be white.

On the other hand, an expensive brand, in principle, does not mean that it will “plow” reliably for half a century like a ZIL refrigerator. The high cost includes a well-developed design, improved characteristics (for example, in terms of noise or energy consumption) and the absence of environmentally harmful production in the technological process, as well as the use of metal components instead of plastic (or, conversely, the replacement of metal parts with expensive modern composites). those. sometimes indicators that are not obvious or not a priority for a particular consumer.

In addition, any technical bells and whistles (which are quite rightly perceived as “state-of-the-art”) increase the likelihood of failure or breakdown. Excellent Smeg for classic cuisine - as simple as two pennies - there’s simply nothing to break. And voltage surges in domestic power grids also do not contribute to stable operation. (for example, a refrigerator compressor).

It seems to me that a more careful selection of each piece of equipment according to key indicators allows you to wisely distribute the budget and obtain a successful result.

We bought all the equipment (all the budget stuff) at Ikea, the result is as follows:

Built-in oven - super, gas stove, 4 burners - very inconvenient for a large family - pots fall if you put more than two. but it works well, unless the scrambled eggs are normal, the dishwasher is a disappointment, it doesn’t wash dishes, especially cups and glasses, all the cracks in the dishes have gotten worse, my friend has a Siemens dishwasher, also inexpensive, same story.

Hello. My comment is more like thinking out loud. So. Miele? Until 2015, the dishwashers of this company, and we are considering this particular type of device, received decent reviews. Next - trash. And one would think that it is only “Chinese” that is being brought to Russia. Because the reviews are “3 out of 5”. But you look at foreign sites, there are generally “2 out of 5”. Neff? Smeg? There are practically no reviews. One or two doesn't count. The only thing worth starting from is functionality and cost. In terms of functionality: camera illumination, ceiling rocker, delayed start, pre-rinsing, display (and a text one). And this should be in the basic version. Cost: from 100,000 RUR for January 2021. Good luck to all.

Food processors and blenders

These are faithful assistants to any housewife, who greatly facilitate and speed up the process of cutting, chopping, whipping and other other actions.

These devices, as a rule, have requirements for power, number of attachments, bowl volume, noiselessness and ease of cleaning.

The basis of the top was made up of already well-known brands, namely:

  • Brown;
  • Bosch;
  • Philips;
  • Kenwood;
  • Moulinex.

Each of the above manufacturers has models for every taste, price and additional wishes of the buyer.

By the way, here you can see which blender is better to choose.

Manufacturers of the most popular built-in electric ovens: ranking of the best companies

  • Types of electric ovens
  • Manufacturers rating
  • The best electric ovens
  • How to choose a built-in oven: video

You can cook literally every product in the oven and the dish will have a unique aroma, perfectly balanced taste and a set of useful substances that do not disappear after heat treatment. But sometimes it can be very difficult to choose a specific model that meets all the buyer’s needs. Housewives may not even be aware of some functionality. Therefore, let’s briefly look at what electric built-in ovens are. And then we’ll make a list of leaders.

Types of electric ovens

We will not consider gas and free-standing appliances. We will determine exactly the electrical appliances that can be built into the furniture “ensemble” of your kitchen. They differ:

  • By size. The most popular models have a height of 50-60 cm, these are the so-called full-size standard cabinets. There are also compact ovens with a height of 40-45 cm. In these cases, the width is 60 cm and the depth is 55 cm. If your kitchen is small, it is better to give preference to narrow ones - with dimensions 60 * 55 * 45, where the width is 45 cm.
  • Working volume. Standard ones have a volume of 55-68 liters, narrow and compact ones - 37-45 liters. This indicator determines how much food can be prepared at one time. For a large family, an oven with a working volume of 55 liters or more would be ideal; if necessary, cook small portions - up to 45 liters.
  • Control. There are two types. Electromechanical can most often be found in budget models; it is more familiar and does not require additional skills. On the front panel there are three round switches-controllers - temperature, heating mode and timer. Electronic control is carried out using touch or regular buttons, which also help to select cooking modes and baking temperatures. Most expensive models have a display that shows the operation of the device. This control is more modern and makes it possible to select various settings, up to the automatic cooking mode, when the housewife does not need to control the baking process.

  • Functional. Most electric ovens have several heating modes, but for preparing ordinary dishes a temperature range of 220-260 degrees is sufficient. Additional useful options include: timer (after the food is cooked, the oven will turn off automatically or a sound signal will sound), convection (microcirculation of hot air allows you to cook food better), grill (with its help, an appetizing crust appears on the food ), spit (for cooking meat and poultry by automatic turning).

Attention! An electric oven can defrost food using a convection fan; if you have a steam generator, you can cook steamed dishes. Some models even have a microwave mode.

Manufacturers rating

All self-respecting manufacturers of household appliances for the kitchen and the entire home must manufacture ovens with electric power and the ability to be built-in. But consumers are smart people, and based on reviews on various forums and the popularity of specific models, we can imagine the top 5 market leaders:

  1. Hotpoint-Ariston (Italy);
  2. Gorenje (Slovenia);
  3. Bosch (Germany);
  4. Siemens (Germany);
  5. Hansa (Poland).

Ovens from the Italian company Hotpoint-Ariston are the most popular due to their attractive design, versatility and ease of use.

Electrical cabinets from German companies Bosch and Siemens are guaranteed quality, have a large number of functions and follow all modern technologies.

The Polish company Hansa produces high-quality ovens that can be bought at the best price. But at the same time, neither the abundance of cooking modes nor the design of the models suffers.

Household appliances from the Slovenian brand Gorenje are also included in the ranking of the best manufacturers of electric ovens due to their beautiful design, ease of maintenance and versatility of products.

The best electric ovens

We have selected the best ovens from top manufacturers based on user reviews about the functionality of the models and compliance with the price-quality characteristic. When compiling the list of leaders, dimensions, working volume, functionality, ease of use and maintenance, efficiency and degree of safety were also taken into account:

    Hotpoint-Ariston FTR 850 (OW). Independent oven with grill and convection, as well as 8 cooking modes. Included in the economy class both in terms of energy use and cost in stores. Cleaned using a hydrolysis cleaning system. Cost – from 20,000 rubles.

Independent oven can be installed at chest level

When thinking about which brand of electric oven with the ability to be built-in is better to buy, give preference to well-known market leading manufacturers: Bosch, Hotpoint-Ariston, Gorenje, Hansa and Siemens. Only in this case will you be confident in the impeccable quality and excellent performance of household appliances.

Juicers

Due to the growing popularity of a healthy lifestyle, more and more people are buying juicers. Fresh fruits, vegetables and berries are very tasty and extremely healthy.

In this regard, spin quality, noise level and ease of maintenance are extremely important for these devices.

The ranking of the best manufacturers in this segment of kitchen appliances includes:

  • Philips;
  • Panasonic;
  • Kenwood;
  • Redmond;
  • Kuvings.

The undisputed leader among centrifugal models is the juicer, whose juicers have been considered the best in terms of price-quality-functionality for several years now.

Among augers, it is worth highlighting the products of Kuvings, Hurom and Redmond.

You may be interested in the comparative review that many readers love on the topic: Which is better to choose: an auger or a centrifugal juicer?

Sets of built-in kitchen appliances

Sometimes devices installed in kitchen furniture are sold as whole sets. The most popular option is an oven and hob. The main feature is the dependence of the component devices on each other. For example, the controls for the oven and burners can be on the same panel - this is very convenient. The biggest advantage of sets of built-in kitchen appliances is that the price is significantly lower than if everything were purchased separately. The downside is that if any of the combined devices breaks (for example, a temperature indicator), it is likely that everything will have to be replaced together.

Multicookers

Multicookers literally blew up the domestic household appliances market 5 years ago. Their almost limitless capabilities at a very affordable price have made them desirable in every kitchen.

Today, they continue to be in demand by many consumers, and more and more new models are entering the market.

The rating of manufacturers of this kitchen equipment includes such brands as:

  • Redmond;
  • Philips;
  • Moulinex;
  • Polaris;
  • Tefal.

When choosing such a device, be sure to pay attention to the power, volume of the multicooker, as well as its functionality.

"Samsung"

This international brand is a global giant in the electronics industry. It is based in Korea. The company's first trading operations involved the sale of rice. Full production of the equipment began in 1937. By the mid-90s of the last century, the concern's turnover amounted to over $5 billion.

Samsung household appliances are distinguished by their modern design and reliability. In addition, the company operates in three main areas:

  • Telecommunications and information technologies.
  • Digital and media production.
  • Semiconductors and touch screens.

The concern is focused on selling products that consumers need most. The lion's share of televisions was produced by this company. In addition, the company actively supports the Olympic Games and is involved in charity work.

Bread makers

Another device that has become popular relatively recently. Ease of use, the ability to independently bake baked goods for almost any taste - all this has provided bread machines with an army of admirers.

This is a rather narrow niche, so we will highlight only the three best companies:

  • Philips;
  • Redmond;
  • Gorenje.

When choosing this device, you need to proceed, first of all, from how often and how much bread you plan to bake. Depending on these two parameters, you can then select different options.

Perhaps you want to know more about how to choose a bread maker.

Dishwasher

A dishwasher is definitely a useful thing. She will do an excellent job with the least favorite task of all housewives.

However, many owners of this equipment do not use it very often. It is much faster and more efficient in terms of saving natural resources to wash a couple of plates the old-fashioned way, using a sponge and liquid. So it makes sense to buy such equipment for a large or welcoming family, where a lot of dishes accumulate.
