Information about the company and its products
The Legrand brand belongs to a French company that produces a large number of items of electrical equipment. The products of this brand have always been distinguished by high quality, reliability and durability, which has earned the trust of a large circle of customers.
The company produces products in different price categories, from economy to premium class, which allows it to satisfy any demand. And the number of shapes and colors of Legrand brand products significantly expands the possibilities of use in various interior solutions. It is also worth mentioning the most popular series of electrical products:
Legrand Celiane
These are premium products. The characteristic features of the Celiane series are the unusual round shapes of the products. Stylish design combined with exquisite colors (standard white, ivory, graphite, titanium, etc.) can fit into the most luxurious interiors. Legrand Celiane are equipped with advanced control technologies: contactless, touch, silent control of keys, buttons or levers with backlight or indication. The Legrand Celiane collection is distinguished by the complete interchangeability of external decorative frames on panels of other colors. By choosing the Celiane series, you can change the appearance of your switches literally according to your mood.

Legrand Valena
Products in this series are made in a classic style with square shapes. The Valena collection is the most successful development of French engineers. Available colors: white, quartz, aluminum, light or dark wood, terra, etc. They can be either with or without backlighting. Legrand Valena series switches fit perfectly into any interior design and look decent in different types of rooms. Valena has been present in Russia alone for more than 20 years, and in European countries it has long held first positions. The more affordable price of the Valena series devices, but at the same time a modern design, is what earned these devices special attention.
Design of decorative frames Legrand Valena
But not only ordinary buyers became interested in them. For some time now, Chinese underground factories have begun diligently churning out counterfeit equipment under the Legrand Valena brand, since they are cheaper. Therefore, do not risk buying electrical equipment in the markets, but contact specialized stores. Only original products, be it the Valena, Celiane or others series, will bring true comfort and protect you from troubles.
This is only a small part of the entire range of products under the Legrand brand. Each series differs from the others in external design and colors. In addition to the Celiane and Valena models, also pay attention to the following interesting series: Legrand Oteo, Mosaic, Quteo, Anam.
Features of the Valena series
The most popular switches are those united by the Valena series. They are intended for indoor use and are mounted by installing them in a mounting box.
Polycarbonate is used to produce the frame and key cover of each device. They are mainly available in white, ivory, aluminum and titanium.
As for technical capabilities, most devices in this series are designed for a current of 10 amperes. There are also models that are designed for 16 amps.
The Valena series switches from Legrand have a simple connection diagram and can be one- or two-key, push-button, louver, card, and can also have an indication, backlight or dimmer. The category also includes pass-through switches.
Models have housing protection IP20 or IP44. The latest marking indicates that the switch can be used in rooms with high humidity, since it is protected from water.
Galea Life and Gealine series
Legrand Galea Life series
As for the Galea Life line, it is called elite. This is because it combines expensive appliances. They are intended for indoor use and are mounted in socket boxes. The degree of protection is IP20.
The views are the same as in the previous series.
The main feature of this line from Legrand lies in the external design of each switch. It is created thanks to the original frames and keys.
They are made of wood, metal, corian (artificial stone), durable duroplast, and are also covered with leather. Each material can be dyed a different color and can have a different pattern.
As you can see, the equipment included in this line is ideal for emphasizing sophisticated interior styles.
switch Legrand Celiane
Very interesting is the Gealine category, which combines original shaped devices for turning on lamps. These Legrand switches (some with a dimmer) are characterized by a combination of square frames and rounded keys.
Thanks to the proper use of colors, such devices look very beautiful. They may have different textures. These textures are made not only from plastic, but also from wood, porcelain, glass and genuine leather. Of course, thanks to such materials the price is quite high.
For those people who want to purchase an economical option for switches, you should pay attention to the Etika series. Of course, the frame and surface of the keys are made of plastic
Also distinguishing features include a method that determines how you can connect a one or two-key Legrand switch. It involves using a special nut to secure the wires. As you can see, models in this series do not have terminal blocks.
Outdoor switches Quteo and Plexo
Legrand Quteo series of surface mounted switches
It is also worth paying attention to such series as Quteo and Plexo. The lines described above include devices that need to be installed in a mounting box
However, we know that it is often necessary to use switches that are mounted on the wall surface.
This is exactly what the Quteo line models are. Their special feature is that the body is made of impact-resistant ABS plastic. The housing can have IP20 and IP44 protection.
Series of protected switches Legrand Plexo
Models assume the presence of one or two keys. As for the color design, it involves the use of one of three colors. So, the switch can resemble a tree, it can be white, or it can look like ivory.
The switches in the Plexo line are somewhat similar. They are also mounted on the wall surface. However, their main feature is the presence of IP55 and IP66 protection. In other words, they are intended for use in wet areas.
They are mainly used in industrial premises, restaurants, schools, utility rooms, courtyards, and garages.

Design, principle of operation and purpose
To connect a pass-through switch yourself, you need to understand how it works. Externally, it is practically no different from the usual one, the main difference lies in the internal design. A standard switch closes/opens an electrical circuit, a pass-through switch that disconnects one line and connects another.
So, if an ordinary single-key player uses only two contacts, then a pass-through one has three. That is, the second output contact is connected to a paired switch. If you connect a two-key device, there will already be six contacts.
Connection diagram for a pass-through single-key switch Legrand
Connection diagram for a two-key device from Legrand
The main purpose of pass-through switches is to control one light source from different sides of the room. It will be easiest to understand the principle of operation using the following examples:
- Long passage corridor. Often in room layouts you can find rooms of considerable length or area with two passages. When you enter from one side, you press the switch, but when you reach the opposite end, it is already inconvenient to return to turn off the light. Therefore, a parallel switch is installed on the other side, with which you successfully turn off the lighting.
- Flights of stairs or different floors. In large houses, with long staircases and several floors, it is quite convenient to turn on the light, for example, on the first floor, and after going up the stairs, turn it off on the second or third.
- Rooms. Imagine that you lay down on the bed and decided to take a nap, but to turn off the light you need to get up and go to the switch. So you can interrupt your sleep. What if you run a parallel switch somewhere to the headboard, then you can turn off the lighting without getting up and relax peacefully.
As you can see, pass-through switches significantly increase the comfort of residents, allowing them to avoid unnecessary movements.
Attaching and checking sockets
Having connected the terminals of all sockets, you need to secure them by screwing them to the sockets in one horizontal line. To determine the “horizon” we use the building level. By slightly tightening and adjusting the position of the sockets, we achieve a clear line.
Now you should apply voltage and check the functionality of all sockets. This must be done before attaching the frame. After all, if even one socket does not work, you will have to disassemble everything, and removing some frames is very problematic, you can scratch the surface or simply break it. If everything is in order, we attach the frame for the sockets. Frames are attached in different ways, depending on the design. Dealing with this will not be difficult, because the hardest part is already behind us.
Look at this miracle of technical thought. The Legrand designers have outdone themselves here in extreme stupidity.
At first glance, it may seem that the photo shows some complex device from a missile system. But no, this is an ordinary two-key light switch from “legrand”. The designers of this company are not looking for easy ways. Conventional manufacturers of this analog have only three intuitive contact terminals. It is impossible to make a mistake with them no matter how hard you want.
But Legrand’s people, even from a banal switch, are able to make a puzzle and an IQ test, which not everyone can solve. Instead of three terminals, we are offered as many as 12! Now that's something to do this weekend. Separately, I would like to praise the caring designers for the right to decide how to connect the LEDs that serve as a beacon in the night to this device.
I will not complicate the story with technical details. I will try to explain the connection diagram for a two-key “legrand” switch in simple human language.
Installing a Legrand light switch: device features
The mechanism consists of five elements. For correct installation, you need to understand how each part works.
- frame;
- frame;
- terminals;
- buttons and contacts;
- the base on which all elements are located. It is this that allows you to securely mount the product on the wall or attach it to the mounting box.
The French manufacturer makes the base from galvanized steel. This material is not subject to deformation, therefore it provides the most reliable fastening. There are four mounting screws on the back side. Installation of the Legrand light switch is possible in a mounting box of any size.
The shape of the fastenings is universal. It allows you to adjust the position of the device - rotate it in any direction and center it.
For convenient connection of wires, automatic terminals are provided. Connecting cables is as simplified as possible: just strip the wires and insert them into the terminals. The latter are often located at an angle of 35°.
The manufacturer took care of the user. He provided a marker on the back panel. Based on it, it is easier to understand how much insulation needs to be removed.
Installing a Legrand Valena switch: choosing a location
It is convenient when the mechanisms are located within maximum accessibility. Traditionally, they are installed at the entrance to the room. If you have a walk-through model that allows you to control the light from different places, one copy can be installed next to the bed. Then you won't have to get out of bed to turn off the lights.
Installing a Legrand backlit switch is justified if you often lose your device in the dark. Such models are equipped with a light indicator. If there is little light in the room, the light on the panel begins to glow. The device consumes a minimal amount of electricity, so there is no need to worry about your electricity bills rising.
When choosing a model, think about how it will fit into the interior of the room. The French brand offers several series of electrical accessories. There are classic solutions and high-tech options. If it is not possible to achieve a harmonious design, the decorative frame can be changed. To do this, there are grooves on the top panel, and to remove it, just use a screwdriver.
Acoustic
Such switches are also called clap or sound switches. Turning on occurs by giving a sound signal of a certain volume, for example, clapping your hands. Switches of this type with a timer are installed not only in apartments, but also on staircases. Some models provide a time setting after which the switch disconnects the circuit. Often, acoustic switches are hidden in distribution boxes and are duplicated by regular keyboards.
The main advantage of this model is obvious: with it you don’t have to feel for the switch in the dark or walk across the entire apartment in dirty shoes because you forgot to turn off the lights. However, such devices do not always respond the first time and can operate spontaneously, which sometimes irritates owners.
Installing a Legrand Valena switch: how to proceed
To carry out high-quality installation, you do not have to be an electrician. Any user who knows how to use the tool can install the mechanism. The action diagram for a model with two keys is as follows:
- turn off the electricity supply;
- prepare the wires for placement in the wiring box;
- connect two mechanisms in a caliper;
- connect wires with previously stripped insulation to them. A three-wire system is used: the phase is inserted into the terminal marked with the letter L, and the other two cables (yellow-blue and yellow) are inserted into the corresponding connectors with arrows. The latter are responsible for the performance of the keys: each for its own;
- fix the installation box on the wall. This requires screws and a screwdriver.
Installation of the Legrand Etika switch in the form of a diagram:
Preparing sockets or switches
First you need to prepare the sockets themselves. Modern sockets and switches are attached to the socket boxes using small self-tapping screws, which are already included with the socket boxes. But on the sockets themselves there are also spacer strips. So, these details, I mean “spacers”, are absolutely unnecessary. If it is possible to unscrew them and throw them away, then I advise you to do so immediately. Such “spacers” only create additional problems when installing sockets. They will rest against the side projections on the walls of the socket boxes and will not allow several sockets to be placed in one line. Also, they can crush the wires with sharp edges and cause a “short circuit”. As a result of this, upon completion of the work, when voltage is applied, the machine will operate, causing your bewilderment and justifiable indignation.
Therefore, save yourself the extra hassle and unscrew these “unnecessities” right away. Believe that the self-tapping screws, screwed in two for each socket, will securely fix the sockets and switches. Unfortunately, some socket designs do not allow the spacers to be removed. Sometimes, they do not create problems during installation. If the socket does not fit into place, even after removing the “spacers,” then the protruding parts can be sharpened using a grinder.
It also happens that the design of the socket boxes themselves is not very successful and is not compatible with exactly the sockets that you bought. In this case, you will again have to use a grinder, a chisel or a sharp knife for the protruding parts in the socket itself.
Installing a Legrand switch: what's the difference?
The switch makes three contacts, not two. It is always in a working state: as soon as one circuit opens, another closes. It is chosen if you need to control the lighting from two places.
The difference is that for correct operation, you need not one, but two copies. The connection diagram is as follows:
Video on how to install Legrand Valena switches:
Operation of the circuit with 3 types of switches - regular, through and cross
The cross switch is used in light control systems with 3 or more places. The device is so called because when switching, it swaps the connections of the suitable wires to the outgoing wires - in a crisscross pattern.
Look at the diagram in the picture
light control using pass-through and cross switches. In a conventional device, there are two contacts for controlling light from one place. Closing and opening them turns the lamp on and off. Therefore, the control key has the “on” and “off” positions marked with letters or icons, and two wires are connected to the device - one phase, from the network and the second from the lamp.
The system for controlling light from several places is designed differently. The device has three contacts - 2 fixed ones, to which the outgoing wires connecting the switches are connected, and 1 movable one. A wire going to the phase or lamp is connected to it. The on position of the circuit is when both devices are connected to the same wire, so there is no “on” position on the keys.
Lighting control circuit from three places
The connection diagram for two-key devices consists of two parallel circuits, one for each lamp. They are connected only by connecting a suitable wire on the first pass-through switch.

How to connect a Legrand Valena switch
An important element of any modern home are special devices that allow you to control energy sources; one of such devices is a switch. This part of the electrical network must be highly efficient and reliable, because it has to work in a fairly intensive mode.
Today, home improvement equipment manufacturers produce many types and types of switches. At the same time, according to reviews of many property owners, the best devices of this type are produced by the French company Legrand.
In addition to high functionality, Legrand switches also have an excellent design, which allows them to easily fit into the interior of literally any home. This article will discuss the features of the Legrand system, as well as methods for correctly installing such switches. A wide selection of Legrand Valena switches and mechanisms is presented here.
Main features of Legrand switches
First you need to take a closer look at the design of the switch and understand what parts it consists of.
- Base - it includes all the main structural elements and has special fastenings with which the device is mounted to the wall.
- Contacts and buttons.
- Frame.
- Product frame.
- Terminal blocks.
Modular load switch or input circuit breaker? 4 advantages of use.
Surely many of you have used circuit breakers. There were no problems turning the lights on and off using such switches. But you should know that, first of all, circuit breakers were created not for frequent switching operations, but to protect electrical wiring and pantographs from overcurrents.
The role of an ordinary switch, that is, breaking the circuit, is a secondary task of the circuit breaker.
And if you abuse frequent shutdowns using automatic machines, especially without disconnecting the load from the sockets, the contacts inside the automatic machine gradually burn out.
How to install a Legrand switch
The Legrand switch installation process involves a number of steps, including:
- you need to take the switch base and attach it to the wall next to the box;
- Next, you should connect the wires to special terminals;
- then the switch is inserted into the box and clamped with screws;
- At the last stage, all that remains is to install the upper decorative part of the device.

The procedure is very simple and usually takes very little time.
Contacts, terminals and socket wires
Now you need to start preparing the wires for contact. The wire protruding from the wall may be too long. It needs to be shortened so that its length from the plane of the wall is 4-5 cm. The top black insulation that connects the wires into a cable must be cut to the very base. It gives the wires excessive rigidity, which resists the compact arrangement of the wires inside the socket box.
The ends of the wires need to be stripped of 6-7 mm of insulation. This is how the wires are immersed inside the contact terminals and securely clamped. Prepare lengths of wires for transition and connection to a nearby outlet. They should be approximately 15-16 cm in length. The cross-section of the wire must be the same as the incoming one. As a rule, for sockets in an apartment, a wire with a cross-section of 2.5 mm2 is used.
What series of Legrand switches are offered to consumers?
Legrand Celiane These are premium switches. They are made in colors: white, graphite, titanium, ivory. These products are characterized by unusual stylish round shapes, sophistication of design and the ability to fit perfectly into even the most original and luxurious modern interior. They can be contactless, silent, touch, one- or two-key (with backlight or indication), switches-buttons or levers. Celiane switches are used as elements of a “Smart Home” (a high-tech control system for light, microclimate, etc.) and therefore represent unique equipment that has no analogues.

Switches in this series have excellent moisture resistance and are presented on the market in the form of one- and two-key mechanisms with backlight and indication, as well as push-button switches. In most cases, they are used in production facilities and workshops/hangars with high humidity. Such switches can be either white or gray.
Legrand Mosaic These are the most high-tech switches that can be perfectly integrated with various Smart Home control elements. They have the function of controlling lighting from one or even two places, have backlighting (or are offered without it), and indication. Many models are contactless and operate with a specialized key or lanyard. Consumers are also offered switches for fans and switch buttons as part of this series.
Legrand Quteo These switches are used for surface mounting. They are used for installation in wooden rooms, balconies, verandas and other areas where hidden installation of wiring is difficult. Products are offered in both one- and two-key versions. These switches are available in woodgrain, white and ivory colours.
Legrand sockets
The "legrand" sockets shown in the photo have clamp terminals. On the packaging there is an inscription: “design and quality of solutions”, “aesthetics of solutions” and “new generation sockets”. All this is a lie.
The plant depicted on the packaging symbolizes the design engineers' rejection of traditional tobacco smoking and their preference for more inspiring mixtures.
I said a lot of bad words while installing these “ sockets ”. I will not quote these words here; you all know them well. The terminals allow the wire to pass inside them well and securely fix them, but they will never release them back. Leading designers, focusing on the new generation, made terminals according to the drawings of bear traps from the beginning of the last century. This interesting engineering solution forced me to completely disassemble the socket to remove the wire, which added several abrasions to my fingers.
Previously, I considered the champions in the inconvenience of existing sockets to be construction kits whose terminals fell apart during assembly. But legrand specialists greatly improved these indicators of “handedness” in many respects and came out on top.
What types of Legrand switches exist?
Based on the type of installation, these devices are divided into:
- Invoices. They are installed with the wiring open. These are the Quteo, Oteo, etc. series.
- Built-in. These devices are distinguished by a mechanism recessed into the wall surface and are used with appropriate wiring (hidden). At the moment, this is the main type of switches used in residential and office premises.
By type of on/off they can be:
- Keyboards. This is the most common type of switch. Today, they are equipped with a larger number of lighting systems in living rooms and office spaces. Moreover, devices consisting of two or more keys can control entire groups of lighting fixtures. At Legrand, such switches are presented in almost every series (Cariva, Quteo, Anam, Galea Life, etc.).
- Sensory. These are devices that use innovative technologies to control lighting. They work with a simple touch, and sometimes to turn on the light you just need to move your hand next to them (Celiane series, etc.).
- Equipped with IR sensors. Such switches have built-in devices that respond to movements and activate the lighting at the moment a person appears, and, accordingly, turn it off in the absence of people. Such devices are available in the Valena series and others.
- Push-button. These devices that control room lighting have not been used for very long, so they bring originality and freshness to every interior. They are quite convenient to use, but require some time to get used to (Celiane series, etc.).
Popular series and classification
Legrand offers consumers a large number of different switches. All of them are divided into series, which differ from each other both in functionality and appearance. The most popular series among them are:
- Valena and Valena Life are one- and two-key switches and switches of a classic (square) shape, made in the colors “aluminium”, “white”, “ivory”. Some models are equipped with backlighting. Products from the Valena Life series are distinguished by the gracefully curved shape of the keys, which allows you to turn on the light with a light touch of your finger.
- Galea Life - waterproof models included in this series of one- and two-key products, are distinguished by a strict design and original colors (dark bronze, titanium, mother-of-pearl, etc.). Many of them are equipped with backlight or indication.
All Legrand switches and switches are classified according to their functional purpose, type of installation and control method.
Based on their functional purpose, the following groups of products are distinguished:
- Switches are devices equipped with one or more pairs of contacts. When on, these contacts are closed (lighting is activated), and when off, they are open (lighting is off). As a rule, switches open only the contacts to which the phase wires are connected, but there are also two-pole options - in which the contacts also break the neutral (“zero”) wire.
- Switches are devices that use three or more contacts. In the “On” position, the first and second contacts close together, and in the “Off” position – the first and third. Switches equipped with three contacts are sometimes called "dual-way switches." They are usually used in cases where lighting is controlled from two places.
- Cross switches are devices that switch two separate lines crosswise (when switching, phase and “zero” change places). Such switches are also called “intermediate” - in lighting control circuits they are installed between switches in two directions, which allows you to turn on light sources from three or more places.
- Circuit breakers are devices designed to protect light sources from overvoltage or short circuit.
Based on the type of installation, switches/switches are divided into surface-mounted and built-in.
- Invoices are used with open wiring.
- Built-in ones are designed for use when laying electrical wires hidden. Unlike overhead models, their actuator is hidden in a specially made recess on the wall surface.
According to the control method, switches/switches are:
- push-button;
- sensory;
- keyboards;
- responsive to people's movements.
The introduction of innovative technologies allowed Legrand developers to create actuators:
- activated by a light touch of the hand (touch type models);
- activating lighting when it appears and turning it off when there are no people in the room (devices equipped with infrared sensors).
Models with push-button control, which appeared relatively recently, are easy to use and can bring a certain originality and elegance to the interior of the room. However, their use will require some time for the user to get used to it.
What is the difference between Legrand switches with backlight and similar products with indication?
For example, let's take the Valena product (white) with backlight, art. 774410 and similar products of this series with indication, art. 774425.
In the first case, the lamp used for illumination is necessary to determine the location of the switch (for example, at night). It starts to glow when the switch is turned off.
The second product with an indication needs a lamp to determine the load. When the switch is in the inoperative position, it also does not function. In addition, the difference between these products is in the connection diagram. A conductor (phase) is inserted into electrical accessories with backlight for breaking. In a device with an indication, in addition to it, a neutral is carried out. The use of indication is convenient for working with remote types of loads that are beyond human vision (lighting in a barn, storage room, etc.).
Rope
The operating principle of this switch is similar to a push-button switch: by pulling the string until it clicks, you close the contacts. Pull a second time and open. This type of switch is primarily used in wall sconces and sometimes for turning on exhaust fans.
Rope switches are not only used for decorative purposes; they have a number of practical advantages. For example, a dangling cord is easy to find by touch in the dark, and such switches are also suitable for families with small children; the child can easily reach it and be able to turn the light on and off independently.
Connecting switches
Two-gang switch
Model Celiane (white), art. 068002. It is assembled from two mechanisms (single-key). Installation mechanism:
- turn off the electricity;
- we prepare the wires for installation in the installation box;
- we connect two mechanisms in the caliper;
- we connect the wires to them (we use a system of 3 wires, first remove the insulation from them, and insert the phase into the terminal with the corresponding marking (L), and the other two (blue-yellow and blue) into the terminals with arrows responsible for their own key on the device);
- We fix the mounting box on the surface.
Pass-through switch
These switches are designed to control lights from different places. They allow you, while in one room, to turn it off/on in another place. Consider the Valena model (pass-through switch, art. 774306). It is connected together with its analogue through a box (distribution) with two output contacts. In this case, the neutral wire goes through it to the lamp, and the phase wire goes to the box, and then to the common contact of the pass-through switch. Unlike pass-through switches, crossover switches have not three, but four contacts (two of them are changeover) and can close and open each of the two lines.
Design and principle of operation of a two-key switch
The operating principle of changeover contacts is the same as on a single-key device. Is it possible to use two single-key switches instead of a two-key pass-through switch? Namely: two more wires appear so that when the light is turned off, a red indicator on each of the two keys lights up - this makes it easier to find the switch in the dark. Six wires are suitable for the first switch, but 5 are connected, one can be left as a backup
In this case, it is important to strictly observe the connection diagram and follow the described algorithm of actions. Thus, switching any key opens one circuit and closes another. We connect the control wires from the hood and the lamp to the outputs of the switching mechanism; the order of connection does not matter. We offer you a short video on connecting a switch with two buttons: Summary or why it is better to be at least a little electrician Every self-respecting housekeeper should know basic diagrams for connecting an outlet or switch
How to connect two-key switches Let's consider the connection using the example of a two-section lighting device, the diagram is shown in Figure 4. To the distribution box from the switchboard, the wire is installed with a large cross-section, taking into account the total power of the two lighting groups. Mechanical keys are more familiar to humans and allow you to tactilely feel the change in the position of the toggle switch. These documents establish the marking of wires by color, the color of the insulation corresponds to the functional purpose of the wires: Blue, cyan color is used as a neutral conductor; Yellow-green for grounding; Red, white, black, other colors for the phase wire and its switched sections. This rule applies to the lead-in section, from the control panel to the switch terminals 1 and 2 red wire.
Choose terminal switches rather than those with screw-in screws, as the first connection option is stronger and more durable: the screws will need to be tightened after a while. Because of this, home wiring predominantly uses two or three pass-through switches per luminaire.
The result of successful work will be money saved on electricity and the comfort of residents when regulating lighting. At the end, you need to use a multimeter to check the functionality of all elements of the system.
Although, if we are based on the total number of terminals, of which there are still 6, such a two-key switch must be connected according to the diagram already shown above. Before starting work, disassemble the switch and remove the external keys from it. In this article we will look at various options for connecting pass-through switches to control lighting from 2, 3 or more places. You can make a pair or a whole group of switches, but each added device will significantly complicate the overall circuit. Do not carry out any work on electrical wiring connected to the network! Why do energy-saving lamps flicker when connected to backlit switches?
The backlight lamps are connected in series with the load, so a small current from the backlight lamp also flows through the energy-saving lamp, causing it to turn on periodically. When a backlit switch (switch) and a compact fluorescent lamp work together, a problem arises that manifests itself in its periodic flashing when turned off. This is because the current flowing through the backlight element (neon lamp or LED) charges the capacitor and causes the lamp converter to spontaneously cycle. This problem can be solved using switches art. 067001 and backlight lamp art. 067686 (Celiane series), connected according to the diagram shown.
