Why does the pilot light not light up? Sometimes the insulation of the thermocouple conductor, consisting of an alloy of several metals, is broken, the conductor comes off, and the thermocouple does not work. Unfortunately, a soldering iron will not help here. The soldered part will not conduct current. You'll have to change the unit.
Attenuation of the wick also occurs due to a strong draft, or when gas does not flow. To make sure everything is fine with the part, test it using an AA battery. Connect the igniter to it. If it lights up, it means it’s working.
No spark
To understand why there is no spark, you should pay attention to the ignition. The problem may be a malfunction of the electric ignition or piezo ignition. To solve this problem, it is necessary to inspect the electrical parts to make sure that the ignition is working.

E7 , the column does not light up, although there have already been seven attempts to turn it on. This happens when a gas or water block boils. Displacement of ionization sensors, failure of solenoid valves.
E8 , the traction sensor is activated. The reasons are either clogged ventilation or a breakdown of the sensor itself.
Problem with poor air flow
The problem is usually associated with a blockage in the exhaust of combustion products; soot may accumulate on them; there may also be a fault in the draft sensor. It is necessary to clean the combustion chamber and combustion product collector. The problem may also be your chimney.
